Where does he come up with this stuff????

So, Pickle has been really busy with his "Pickle'isms" lately, and I need to keep jotting them down before they slip away and I forget the cutesy fun stuff... besides I need good reminders for those gloomy days when he irritates me!

The county fair has come and gone, and my little guy had a blast riding rides, he likes them high, fast, and over and over! There was a dune buggie on rails ride that he went on... well next thing you know this cute little girl gets on... he climbs out of his and follows her back to her dune buggie... smiling ear to ear... oh yeah, cute girls. Meanwhile she is furious, you can just see the steam blowing out her ears, glaring at him and scooting as far away as possible! I was just lauging away!

We have two dogs in this family, one is Dee Dee, a year old pup.. cute, lazy, and loving. The other is Spot... age unknown, well-loved, needs a little stitching to repair a foot, and was passed on to Pickle by his second family before a trip to the ER when he was sick, yes Spot is a stuffed animal. Three wonderful kids have all told me a story of where they got Spot and thus they gifted him, so we can just claim that they all love Pickle enough to give this treasure to him! And treasure he is! Spot is always around. Daddy likes to mess with him, trying to take him, hide him etc.... just teasing. Last night Pickle was talking away, holding spot, when daddy kept nudging spot, then took him and layed back in the recliner feigning sleep.... pause for a bit.... Pickle looks at me, "Guess dad wants to sleep with Spot" fast forward a while to bed time, "Do you think daddy is done sleeping with Spot?" I tell him to go check as I get things ready for bed, Pickle climbs into dads lap "Don't worry, when mom goes to sleep, I'll sneak into bed with you so you can sleep with Spot too!" Oh the stinker! He is mastering the art of "sneaking" not a talent I like in him!!!!!

I have more to post, but need to go read some homework! Time gets away from me! Have a great week!

This and that.....

So, I am building up a collection of cards and layouts now! Amazing the difference that having friends and fellow scrappers can make in one's motivation to do something creative! I am participating in my first ever blog hop tonight at 9 pm... on my TAC blog... Mama Pickle's Paper Creations. I have a few more cards and layouts to get up in the next week as well... amazing ;-)

I have found a great group of scrappers out here, but am beginning to wonder if I am cursed at the crops, or just a plain unlucky clutz. The first one ended with me sticking my elbow into a fan, I know, brilliant, but in my defense it had been turned a different direction. So scraped up and bleeding, I trudged home to have the hubby help me bandage it. Well yesterday was crop number two here for me... and it ended with me falling out the front door. Have you ever fell down with your hands full? Knowing that you are falling and you can't do anything to catch yourself, just cringe and wait til you hit. That was me... scraped and bruised knee, legs, and the same elbow as before... oh yeah, clutz it is!

We have been staying in alot, out of the heat, or going swimming.

Took the Leap!

So I took the leap, and now I am officially flying with the Angels! I am now an independent demonstrator with The Angel Company. I am soooo excited too! I know that my blogging has been pretty sparce, life gets in the way sometimes, but I have finally found some other scrappers out here and am getting back into the swing of things! I have started another blog... I know, don't say it... how can I do two when I can't keep one going, well, this blog will be for my personal ranting and raving, and lets not forget the Pickle'isms! I have to share the latest too... the other night Pickle told us "It isn't about winning, its about making other people lose"... yeah, my jaw dropped too! All I can think is, this one is going to be trouble when it comes to sportsmanship... already when he wins at a game or "beats" you racing somewhere it is "oh yeah, oh yeah, shake your butt!" I think it is his daddy coming out in him .... j/k hun....

Back on track here! If you share in my love of scrapbooking and don't already have your own TAC rep.... let me know, I would love to enable you! Check out my other blog for specials and deals... and soon I will have my online store up and going too!

Here is a card that I just did, for more info on it check out my TAC Blog hope you enjoy!

Blastball Troubles

So Pickle has started playing Blastball, a little kid version even lower than plain T-ball. I guess playing may be a bit strong of a word, as I have discovered that were it not for the fact that they are only in the infield, he would be classified as dandelion-picker. He loves to bat, loves to run, but he doesn't do so well on the fielding part. Focus is a necessity, something that only comes out when he plays electronic games, oh yes he is a gamer... sigh... so when he is spacing off and they hit the ball past him, you have to wonder why he cries because he didn't get the ball. Yesterday's game was a battle, he wanted to quit, cried because he isn't "good at that game" and even went so far as to take off his glove, throw it on the ground, stomp on it and declare it is a stupid glove. I tried video taping the whole thing, with pauses to "talk" to him, but what come back to it and see it was still recording... yes definitely need to edit that video for content.

Hope to get some scrapping done soon. I've been working on a project that has been a few years in the making... sad when I think how long ago I wanted to get these done and given, but the end is in sight, I plan to ship them off in the next week or so for mother's day gifts. I'll scan and post pics later though. I've also been working on a cross-stitch. In unpacking, I came across a cross-stitch that was half done, well, I finished it! Just need to get a frame so I can put it up.

I'm on a roll!

Wow, I go from doing nothing for a very, very long time to two cards in one week... I can hardly believe it! I have some friends that are true Split Coast Stampers, and I put off joining as long as I could. Today I finally took the plunge and became a member. My reasoning behind not joining was that I couldn't post if I wasn't a member, and if I couldn't post then I wouldn't spend near as many hours rummaging through the galleries and forums. Well, it has begun... I discovered the challenges, and I did one already, actually it is for two of the challenges! I feel like I am gabbering away, can you tell I am excited? So I really liked making this card, got back into coloring with copics, I think my green pants are a bit too bright green, but I still like it! Now if I could just figure out the best way to take pictures of or scan the cards.

Rain Rain Go Away

So the rain is back, but atleast it is better than snow like some still have! I still haven't got any crafting done, have actually done a little straightening up in my craft room though! Yippee... I will get there. I'm obviously not meeting my goal of one project a week now am I! I managed to get my yard mowed today, prior to the rain thankfully! My DH has been gone for a little while now, and will be home in a couple weeks, finally. I'm planning some ME time... sans Pickle, and am thinking that I need to do some scrapping, can't wait... I'll be able to go to crops again too. Hope that everyone has a happy Easter, and that the rain stays away! I know that I'm not posting anything up here... but I figure if I keep making myself atleast post, then it will get me headed in the right direction to posting actual stuff!
